As the weekend approaches, it’s the perfect time to unwind with a good movie. With so many streaming options available, choosing what to watch can be overwhelming. To make your decision easier, we’ve curated a list of the 7 best movies to watch this weekend on Netflix, Paramount Plus, and Hulu.

1.The Irishman (Netflix) – An epic saga of organized crime in post-war America as told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century.

2.Mission: Impossible – Fallout (Paramount Plus) – When an IMF mission ends badly, the world is faced with dire consequences. Ethan Hunt takes it upon himself to fulfill his original briefing, and the CIA begins to question his loyalty and his motives.

3.Parasite (Hulu) – This Oscar-winning film by Bong Joon Ho weaves a tale about two families – the wealthy Parks and the destitute Kims – as they become entangled in an unexpected incident, leading to a sharp and witty examination of class divide.

4.Marriage Story (Netflix) – An incisive and compassionate portrait of a marriage breaking up and a family staying together, featuring powerful performances from Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver.

5.A Quiet Place Part II (Paramount Plus) – Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence.

6.The Trial of the Chicago 7 (Netflix) – Based on the infamous 1969 trial of seven defendants charged by the federal government with conspiracy, this film holds contemporary significance through its social commentary and intense drama.

7.Palm Springs (Hulu) – In this surreal romantic comedy, two wedding guests find themselves trapped in a time loop, leading to an endless day of experiences and possibly an opportunity for love.

Whether you’re in the mood for drama, action, or comedy, this selection features some critically acclaimed films that cater to every taste. Grab some popcorn and enjoy your movie marathon weekend!

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject.
