Hair oil is an essential element in hair care routine due to its numerous benefits, such as promoting hair growth, combating dryness, and adding shine. Making your own hair oil, using natural ingredients, allows you to avoid harmful chemicals and tailor the treatment to your specific hair needs. In this article, we’ll discuss four ways to make your own hair oil to keep your locks looking healthy and vibrant.

Instructions:

  1. Melt the coconut oil in a double boiler or by heating it gently in a microwave.
  2. Add the rosemary essential oil to the melted coconut oil.
  3. Mix well until fully combined.
  4. Store the mixture in a glass jar or bottle, andapply a small amount onto your scalp and hair before bedtime as needed.

2. Olive Oil and Lavender Hair Oil

This simple mixture is perfect for taming frizz, adding shine, and preventing breakage.

Ingredients:

– 10 drops of lavender essential oil

Instructions:

  1. Combine olive oil with lavender essential oil in a small bottle or jar.
  2. Shake well to mix thoroughly.
  3. Apply a small amount onto your palm and work through damp or dry hair, focusing on the ends.

3. Almond Oil and Peppermint Hair Oil

To help strengthen hair follicles and reduce scalp inflammation, this refreshing mixture is ideal.

– 10 drops of peppermint essential oil

Instructions:

  1. Combine sweet almond oil with peppermint essential oil in a small bottle or jar.
  2. Shake well to mix thoroughly.
  3. Massage a small amount onto your scalp for about 5 minutes, then leave in for an additional 20 minutes before washing out.

4. Jojoba Oil and Tea Tree Hair Oil

This combination is perfect for treating dandruff and soothing the scalp.

Ingredients:

– 4 tablespoons of jojoba oil

– 10 drops of tea tree essential oil

Instructions:

  1. Combine jojoba oil with tea tree essential oil in a small bottle or jar.
  2. Shake well to mix thoroughly.
  3. Apply a few drops directly onto your scalp, massage gently for a few minutes, and let it sit overnight before washing out the next morning.
