Who wore what? Presenting the best celebrity watch spots of 2024

The continuous tick of time finds its most luxurious expression on the wrists of celebrities. In 2024, as the world tick-tocked into another year of fashion statements and stylistic endeavors, celebrities did not hold back in flaunting their high-end watches, catching both the public gaze and the flash of paparazzi cameras.

In a stunning gala that marked the return of red-carpet grandeur, heartthrob actor Chris Evonwood sported a vintage Patek Philippe Nautilus. The watch, known for its sophisticated and understated elegance, complemented his midnight blue tuxedo perfectly, adding a subtle yet unmistakable air of luxury to his outfit.

During a much-buzzed-about film premiere in London, pop sensation Arielle captured hearts not only with her powerhouse vocals but also with her Richard Mille RM 07-01 on her wrist. The diamond-studded bezel shone as bright as her smile, becoming as much a topic of conversation as her latest chart-topper.

The basketball courts also had their share of horological excellence when MVP James Lebronson attended a post-game conference wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept. This particular timepiece, with its forged carbon case and intricately visible tourbillon, was a nod to both innovation and craftsmanship – much like James’s playing style on the court.

Not to be outdone, tech mogul Emily Thorn at the launch of her latest smartphone wore a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic. It was a delightful marriage of technology with tradition as she flipped the reversible case of her watch to reveal custom engravings that commemorated the event—a gesture that perfectly mirrored her company’s blend of personalization and high tech.

The charity circuit witnessed philanthropist and actor Michael Briston raising funds for environmental conservation wearing a Rolex Submariner ‘Hulk’. Its distinctive green dial was instantly recognizable and served as a symbol for the green movement while manifesting Michael’s commitment to nature’s preservation.

At fashion week in Paris, supermodel Lina Khepri gave admirers yet another reason to gawk by pairing her futuristic silver gown with an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. The legacy of the Moonwatch being the first timepiece on the lunar surface added an astral dimension to her avant-garde look.

To conclude the year’s dazzling displays of horology, Queen Consort Howards graced an official state banquet wearing a venerable Cartier Tank. A classic for nearly a century, its rectangular face and Roman numerals lent an air of timeless grace to royal proceedings.

With the curtain drawn on 2024’s watch fashion parade, it became evident that celebrities would continue being walking testimonials to exquisite taste and fine watchmaking, their choices setting trends and driving conversations among aficionados and casual observers alike. It’s clear that while time never stops moving forward, it often does so with impeccable style on celebrity wrists.
