As an Android user, it is important to know what version you are running on your device. This information can help you determine what features and updates you may be missing out on, and it can also be helpful in troubleshooting issues with your device. Luckily, it is easy to find out what version of Android you have. Here’s how to tell:

Option 1: Check your device settings

The easiest way to check what version of Android you are running is to go to your device settings. The steps to get to the settings may vary slightly depending on your device, but generally, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the settings app on your device.

2. Scroll down and select “About phone” or “About device”.

3. Look for the “Android version” or “Software information” section. This should tell you the specific version of Android you are running.

Option 2: Use the Android version history chart

Another way to check what version of Android you have is to use the Android version history chart. This chart displays all the versions of Android that have been released, along with the date of release and the name of the version. To use this chart, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Android version history chart on the Android website.

2. Locate your device on the chart, and look for the corresponding Android version.

3. This should tell you the specific version of Android you are running.

Option 3: Use a third-party app

If you prefer, you can also use a third-party app to check what version of Android you have. There are many apps available in the Google Play Store that can provide you with this information, such as Android Version Finder or My Android. To use one of these apps, simply download it from the Play Store, and follow the instructions to check the version of Android on your device.

In conclusion, knowing what version of Android you have is important, as it can help you stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates, and it can also be helpful in troubleshooting issues with your device. Luckily, it is easy to find out what version of Android you are running, using any of the three methods outlined above. So, go ahead and check your version of Android today!
