WFH or Work From Home job refers to a type of employment opportunity that enables an individual to work remotely from the comfort of their own home or any other location of their choosing. This type of job is increasingly becoming popular, especially with the recent pandemic outbreak, causing many individuals to seek remote work opportunities. In essence, a work from home job allows you to work without having to be physically present in an office or other work location.

There are many WFH job opportunities available in various fields, including writing, digital marketing, graphic designing, web development, customer service, and many others. With the advent of modern technology, most companies are leveraging it by employing individuals who are willing to work remotely. As long as you have access to a reliable internet connection, a computer or laptop, suitable software or tools for your job, you can work from anywhere.

When starting out with a WFH job, it is important to acknowledge that it can be both rewarding and challenging simultaneously. Some of the benefits of work from home jobs are flexibility in working hours, saving time and money commuting, better work-life balance, and freedom to work in environments that are conducive to your productivity. These benefits, in turn, contribute to higher job satisfaction levels, which is crucial for employee motivation.

However, WFH also requires discipline, focus, and good time management skills to ensure you remain productive and meet your deadlines. It can also be isolating, particularly for people who thrive in social settings or have a family. The onus is on individuals to actively find ways to stay engaged and motivated without the social interactions typically experienced in traditional office settings.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
