TV Time vs. Trakt vs. Serializd: What’s the Best App to Track Your Favorite Movies and Shows?

In our ever-growing world of media consumption, it’s become increasingly difficult to keep track of all the TV shows and movies that we want to watch. That’s where tracking apps come in. Three of the most popular tracking apps are TV Time, Trakt, and Serializd. But which one is the best? Let’s take a look at each app and see what they have to offer.

TV Time

TV Time is a popular app that has been around for a while. It allows users to track their favorite TV shows and movies, as well as discover new ones. The app has a very user-friendly interface, making it easy to add shows to your watchlist and keep track of what episodes you’ve already watched.

TV Time also has a social aspect to it, allowing users to see what their friends are watching and share their own viewing history. The app also offers personalized recommendations based on the user’s watch history.

However, some users have reported issues with the accuracy of the app’s tracking. Additionally, the app is only available on iOS and Android devices, limiting its accessibility.

Trakt

Trakt is another popular tracking app that functions similar to TV Time. It allows users to track their favorite TV shows and movies, discover new ones, and get recommendations based on their watch history. Trakt also has a social aspect, allowing users to connect with friends and see what they’re watching.

One of the most impressive features of Trakt is its synchronization with media centers like Kodi and Plex. This allows users to track their viewing history across multiple devices and platforms.

However, Trakt’s interface can be a bit overwhelming for some users, and some have reported glitches and bugs with the app.

Serializd

Serializd is a newer tracking app that has been gaining popularity. It tracks TV shows exclusively and offers personalized recommendations based on the user’s viewing history. Users can also see what their friends are watching and join discussion groups.

One of Serializd’s standout features is its clean and simple interface, making it easy to add shows to the watchlist and mark episodes as watched.

However, the app is only available on iOS devices, limiting its accessibility. Additionally, some users have reported issues with the app’s server and syncing.

So, which app is the best?

Ultimately, the best tracking app will depend on your specific needs and preferences. TV Time and Trakt are both great options for those who want to track both TV shows and movies and have a social aspect to the app. Trakt’s synchronization with media centers is a huge bonus for those who use multiple streaming platforms.

For those who exclusively watch TV shows and want a clean and simple interface, Serializd is a great option. However, its limited accessibility to iOS devices and reported issues with the app’s server may be a turn off for some users.

Overall, explore all three apps and see which one works best for you. Happy tracking!
