Introduction:
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has scheduled multiple turkey giveaway events in La Porte County to support local families during the holiday season.

Body:
In an effort to assist families in need, the Food Bank of Northern Indiana is organizing several turkey giveaway events across La Porte County. On November 18, 2024, two locations in La Porte will host these events, providing a total of 500 turkeys to the community.

The first event will take place at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Kingsbury from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by another event at the La Porte Salvation Army from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Each location will distribute 250 turkeys on a first-come, first-served basis.

These events are part of a broader initiative to support families during the holiday season, ensuring that everyone has access to a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Volunteers and organizers are working diligently to make the events a success and to reach as many families as possible.

Conclusion:
The turkey giveaway events in La Porte County highlight the community’s commitment to supporting those in need. Residents are encouraged to participate and spread the word to ensure that all families have the opportunity to enjoy a festive holiday meal.
