Amazon Prime Day is a highly anticipated event for shoppers worldwide. Lasting 48 hours, this annual sale offers millions of items at discounted prices exclusively for Amazon Prime members. With so many options and time constraints, it can be overwhelming. To help you make the most out of Amazon Prime Day, follow these five tips.

1. Start by creating a wishlist:

Rather than diving into the sea of deals unprepared, take some time before the event to list down the products you want to buy. Having a pre-planned wishlist will save you time and allow you to focus on the items that you genuinely need. Additionally, by adding these products to your Amazon wishlist, you can monitor their prices and receive notifications when they go on sale.

2. Do your research ahead of time:

Research plays a crucial role in determining whether an item is worth purchasing on Prime Day. Before the event begins, read reviews and compare prices for each product on your wishlist. Familiarize yourself with return policies and warranty information to make an informed decision.

3. Utilize additional resources for price tracking:

Websites like CamelCamelCamel and Honey are valuable tools during sales like Amazon Prime Day. They enable price comparison with price histories and track potential discounts on your desired items over time. This information will help you gauge how much money you’re saving compared to regular prices.

4. Set reminders for flash sales:

Amazon Prime Day has lightning deals that last for a limited time or until all stock is claimed. To avoid missing out on remarkable discounts, browse upcoming deals in advance and create reminders on your smartphone or smart home device before their scheduled start times.

5. Stack up on coupons and promo codes:

Amazon frequently offers coupons and promotional codes that can be applied during checkout for additional savings. Before making any purchase during Amazon Prime Day, check for available discounts in the ‘Today’s Deals’ section and explore coupon websites for any relevant codes.

By following these five tips, you can strategically plan and maneuver through Amazon Prime Day without becoming overwhelmed. Taking advantage of this mega sale requires a bit of preparation, but with some careful planning and research, you’ll be well on your way to scoring fantastic deals and savings.
