As autumn paints New England with brilliant hues of reds, oranges, and yellows, there’s truly no better way to soak in the fall foliage than by taking a nostalgic journey through the heart of New Hampshire on a vintage train. This 5.5-hour scenic excursion promises an immersive experience that combines leisurely travel, panoramic views, and a touch of history.

Passengers aboard this heritage railway are transported back in time to the golden age of rail travel. Comfortable, restored vintage coaches glide smoothly along tracks that traverse vast landscapes adorned with autumn’s palette. The train snakes through New Hampshire’s picturesque countryside, skirting rivers, rolling hills and idyllic small towns that seem untouched by time.

What makes this journey one of the best ways to see fall foliage is the uninterrupted nature of the experience. Far removed from the stop-and-go of highway traffic, travelers can bask in the glory of New England’s fall uninterrupted. The train’s pace is just right for taking in the sights; quick enough to cover a good range of vistas yet slow enough to appreciate the individual beauty of each passing tree.

Onboard amenities enhance the experience further. With dining and lounge cars offering refreshments and comfortable seating, passengers can enjoy local flavors while sharing stories or simply gazing out at the unfolding scenery.

Educational and entertaining narration adds another layer to the journey, as knowledgeable guides recount fascinating bits of local history and point out landmarks along the way.

For photographers and nature lovers alike, this vintage train ride provides ample opportunities for capturing stunning images or simply dwelling in the peaceful embrace of nature.

As passengers disembark at their final station, they take with them more than just photos or souvenirs; they carry memories of a timeless adventure through New Hampshire’s breathtaking autumnal splendor – aboard a vintage train that reminds us all to slow down and enjoy the view.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
