When it comes to Apple’s macOS Ventura, there is a plethora of features that are well-known. However, there are still some hidden gems that many users may not be aware of. Here are the top hidden features in macOS Ventura that you should know about.

1. Hidden wallpapers: macOS Ventura comes with a variety of beautiful wallpapers. However, there are some hidden ones that are not easily accessible. To access them, go to Finder and select the “Go” menu. From there, press the “Option” key, and the “Library” option should appear. Select that, and then navigate to the “Desktop Pictures” folder. You should now be able to view the hidden wallpapers.

2. Screenshot annotations: Taking a screenshot in macOS Ventura is pretty straightforward. However, did you know that you can also annotate those screenshots? After taking a screenshot, a preview window will appear. From there, you can use the annotation tools to add text, arrows, shapes, and more.

3. Split View shortcuts: Split View is a nifty feature that allows you to view two apps side by side. To enter Split View, drag an app to the top of the screen, and then select another app to view it side by side. However, there are also keyboard shortcuts that allow you to enter and exit Split View. Pressing “Control + Up Arrow” takes your current app into Split View, while “Control + Down Arrow” exits Split View.

4. Siri integration with Finder: Did you know that you can use Siri to search for files and folders in Finder? Simply activate Siri and ask it to “Find [file/folder name] in Finder.” Siri should be able to locate the requested item in Finder.

5. Hidden trackpad gestures: The trackpad on your MacBook can do more than you may realize. There are a few hidden gestures that you can use to increase productivity. For example, swiping with three fingers up or down brings up the Mission Control and App Exposé views, respectively. Swiping left or right with three fingers switches between full-screen apps.

In conclusion, these are just a few of the hidden features that macOS Ventura has to offer. By taking advantage of these features, you can increase your productivity and efficiency while using your Mac. So, the next time you’re using macOS Ventura, try out some of these hidden features, and you may be pleasantly surprised!
