Spread the love

As a YouTube enthusiast, there’s no doubt you’ve stumbled upon a video that you’d love to view again, even when offline or without an internet connection. Saving the video to your camera roll becomes the ideal solution in this situation. This way, you can watch the video whenever you want without having to search for it again online when you have access to wifi.

If you’re an iPhone, iPod, or iPad user, these simple steps will guide you through saving YouTube videos to your camera roll:

1. Download a third-party app

Apple products generally don’t allow direct video downloads from YouTube, but there are numerous third-party apps that can do it for you. A few apps that popular among iOS users include Documents, Total files, and Video downloader plus.

2. Open the YouTube app

Open the YouTube app on your phone and navigate to the video you want to download. Tap the “Share” button and then copy the video’s URL.

3. Open the third-party app

After copying the video’s URL, open the third-party app you’ve downloaded from the App Store. Then paste the copied URL into the app’s search bar.

4. Start the download

Once you’ve pasted the video’s URL, click the download button that appears on the app. This will initiate the downloading process, and you’ll see the progress displayed on your screen. Wait until the download is complete.

5. Save to camera roll

After the download is complete, click the “save to camera roll” option that appears on the app. The app will move the video to your phone’s camera roll, and from there, you can watch it offline anytime.

For PC and Android users, things are a bit easier since there are no restrictions. You can download YouTube videos directly to your devices without any third-party app.

Here are a few steps to follow:

1. Navigate to the video’s URL

Go to YouTube and then search for the video you want to download. Once you’ve found it, open the video.

2. Copy the video’s URL

On the video’s watch page, copy the video’s URL by either highlighting it and pressing “Ctrl+C” or right-clicking and selecting the “copy” option.

3. Open a YouTube video downloader website

Open your preferred YouTube video downloader website, such as “SaveFrom” or “Y2Mate.” Once on the website, paste the copied URL into the provided space, and then click “Download.”

4. Choose your download size

After clicking “Download,” a list of download sizes will appear on the screen. Select the one you prefer and then click “Download” again. Depending on your internet connection speed, the video may take a few moments to download.

5. Save to device

Once the download is complete, open your device’s file explorer and navigate to the downloaded video file. Click on it, and it’ll automatically save to your device.
Saving YouTube videos to your camera roll doesn’t have to be difficult, given the numerous online downloader tools and apps available. As long as you follow the steps above for your device, you’ll be able to watch YouTube videos offline in no time.
