As technology continues to advance, more and more children are accessing the internet and watching videos online. While there are countless video sites out there, not all of them are suitable for children. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the best video sites for kids that are safe and fun.

1. PBS Kids: This video site is perfect for young children. It features popular PBS kids shows like Sesame Street, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and Wild Kratts. The site is ad-free, so parents don’t have to worry about their children being exposed to inappropriate content.

2. YouTube Kids: YouTube Kids is a kid-friendly version of YouTube. It’s designed to be easy for children to use, with big buttons and simple navigation. The content is screened by human moderators and algorithms to ensure that it’s appropriate for children. Parents can also set up profiles for their children and restrict access to certain videos or channels.

3. National Geographic Kids: National Geographic Kids is a fantastic resource for children who are interested in science, nature, and animals. The site features videos and games that are educational and entertaining. Children can learn about everything from dinosaurs to space exploration.

4. Kidz Bop: If your child loves music, they’ll enjoy Kidz Bop. The site features music videos of popular songs that have been re-recorded by kids for kids. The lyrics are clean and appropriate for children, making it a safe and fun way for them to enjoy music.

5. Disney Junior: Disney Junior is a video site that features popular Disney shows like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Doc McStuffins, and Sofia the First. The site is easy for children to navigate, and the content is appropriate for young viewers. Parents can also set up profiles for their children to restrict access to certain videos or shows.

6. Nick Jr.: Nick Jr. is a video site that features popular Nick Jr. shows like Paw Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines, and Bubble Guppies. The site is ad-free, and the content is appropriate for young viewers. The site also features educational games and activities to help children learn while they play.

In conclusion, the internet can be a great resource for children to learn and have fun. However, it’s important for parents to monitor their children’s online activity and ensure that they’re accessing content that is safe and appropriate for their age. The video sites listed above are a great starting point for parents who want to find safe and fun video content for their children.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
