Spread the love

The Phoenix culinary scene continues to captivate locals and visitors alike with its diverse offerings that range from Sonoran Mexican dishes to modern American cuisine. This month, we explored various eateries around the city and found six outstanding dishes that left our taste buds craving more.

1.Smoked Brisket Tacos – Little Miss BBQ

Little Miss BBQ has smoked their way into the hearts of Phoenix residents. Their brisket tacos, featuring tender slices of oak-smoked beef, wrapped in a soft corn tortilla and topped with fresh salsa and creamy avocado sauce is a mouthwatering masterpiece.

2.Sushi Omakase – ShinBay

ShinBay offers an exceptional sushi experience with their omakase menu, which is a chef-selected assortment of fresh nigiri and sashimi. Each bite is an expression of the chefs’ expertise and the ocean’s bounty, making it one of the best in Phoenix.

3.Charred Octopus – Virtù Honest Craft

The charred octopus at Virtù Honest Craft is not to be missed. Perfectly tender with a slight char on the outside, it’s served with chickpeas, chorizo, and calabrese vinaigrette that come together to create a harmonious explosion of flavors.

4.Pistachio Gelato – The Gelato Spot

Cool down in Phoenix’s warm weather with a scoop of rich and nutty pistachio gelato from The Gelato Spot. Its velvety texture and true-to-nut flavor are what make this gelato stand out from the rest.

5.Wood-Fired Pizza – Pizzeria Bianco

Chris Bianco’s Pizzeria Bianco has long been hailed as one of the best pizzas nationwide, and for good reason. The Rosa pizza, with red onion, parmesan cheese, rosemary, pistachios, and no shortage of mozzarella is a uniquely delicious blend that can only be found in Phoenix.

6.Chilaquiles – Chico Malo

For brunch enthusiasts or any lovers of Mexican cuisine, Chico Malo’s chilaquiles are a perfect start to the day. Crispy tortillas soaked in spicy salsa roja or verde, bathed in crema, queso fresco, topped with a perfectly fried egg; it’s simply irresistible.

Indulging in these dishes is not just about satisfying hunger—it’s an adventure through different cultures and flavors right here in Phoenix. Make sure to add them to your ‘must-eat’ list this month!
