Introduction:

Regirock, the Rock Peak Pokémon, is one of the Legendary Titans in the world of Pokémon. Trainers in Pokémon GO have numerous chances to challenge this powerful Rock-type creature in five-star raids. In this guide, we’ll discuss Regirock’s top counters, weaknesses, and movesets to help you catch this formidable foe.

Weaknesses:

As a Rock-type Pokémon, Regirock is weak to several types of attacks. These weaknesses are crucial to keep in mind when forming a team to battle it.

1. Water-type: 2x weakness

2. Grass-type: 2x weakness

3. Fighting-type: 2x weakness

4. Ground-type: 2x weakness

5. Steel-type: 2x weakness

Best Counters:

Given its weaknesses, specific Pokémon will serve as optimal counters against Regirock. Here are five of the top contenders:

1. Mega Blastoise (Water Gun/Hydro Cannon): With powerful Water-type moves and boosted stats as a Mega Evolution, Mega Blastoise can deal significant damage to Regirock.

2. Swampert (Water Gun/Hydro Cannon): Swampert’s typing and moveset make it another excellent Water-type counter option.

3. Machamp (Counter/Dynamic Punch): A strong Fighting-type option, Machamp can utilize its moveset to exploit Regirock’s weakness effectively.

4. Venusaur (Vine Whip/Frenzy Plant): As a potent Grass-type attacker, Venusaur can make quick work of Regirock.

5. Excadrill (Mud Slap/Drill Run or Earthquake): Excadrill’s dual types and movesets allow it to take advantage of both Ground- and Steel-type weaknesses.

Movesets:

Regirock has various potential movesets which can pose different challenges in battle. Here are its Fast and Charged moves:

Fast Moves:

1. Rock Throw (Rock-type)

2. Lock-On (Normal-type)

Charged Moves:

1. Stone Edge (Rock-type)

2. Focus Blast (Fighting-type)

3. Zap Cannon (Electric-type)

When battling Regirock, focus on dodging its Charged moves, especially Focus Blast and Zap Cannon, as they can deal significant damage to your Pokémon.

Conclusion:

In summary, knowing Regirock’s weaknesses, top counters, and movesets are crucial factors in a successful raid encounter. Assemble a powerful team of Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel-type Pokémon to maximize your chances of victory and catch the sturdy Rock Peak Pokémon!
