For instance, you can choose to have Sound Check automatically adjust the volume of all your tracks to be around the same level, or you can choose to have it adjust for quieter tracks. To change these settings, go to the Music section in the Settings app, and tap on “EQ”. Then, select “Late Night” which boosts quieter portions of songs up while keeping the louder parts in check. If you want to check the volume levels of your music tracks, you can use the “Get Info” function in iTunes or the “Song Info” function on your iOS device. This will bring up a panel that displays the “Volume Adjustment” for the song. You can use this to adjust the volume of individual tracks if necessary.

If you want to turn on Sound Check for a specific track or playlist, you can do so manually. On an iOS device, open the Music app and navigate to the track or playlist you want to adjust. Swipe left on the track, and tap “More”, then “Sound Check” and “On”. On a Mac, right-click on the track or playlist and select “Get Info” to bring up the same panel as above.
