PayPal is a widely used online payment processing service, and it is only natural that you may want to use it to make purchases on your Apple iPhone or via the Mac App Store. Here, we’ll guide you through the steps to get started and help you understand how to use PayPal with Apple’s iPhone and Mac App Store.

Using PayPal with iPhone:

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone and select ‘iTunes & App Store.’

Step 2: Tap on your Apple ID.

Step 3: Click on ‘View Apple ID’ and enter your password when prompted.

Step 4: Scroll down and select ‘Payment Information.’

Step 5: Click on PayPal, and then log in with your PayPal account credentials.

Step 6: Tap ‘Agree’ when prompted to link your PayPal account to your Apple ID.

Step 7: Once linked, you can easily make purchases on the App Store using PayPal. When you reach the payment screen, choose ‘PayPal’ as your payment method.

Using PayPal with Mac App Store:

Step 1: Open the App Store on your Mac.

Step 2: Click on ‘Account’ within the sidebar.

Step 3: Under ‘Payment Information,’ select ‘PayPal.’

Step 4: Log in to your PayPal account.

Step 5: Click ‘Agree’ when prompted to link your PayPal account to your Apple ID.

Step 6: You can now easily make purchases on the Mac App Store using PayPal. When you reach the payment screen, choose ‘PayPal’ as your payment method.

Note: PayPal is not available as a payment method for subscriptions, in-app purchases, or iTunes Store allowances.

Conclusion:

Using PayPal with Apple’s iPhone and Mac App Store is a convenient and secure way to make purchases, especially if you don’t want to input your credit card information every time you want to make a purchase. The steps outlined above are simple to follow, and once linked, your PayPal account can work seamlessly with your Apple ID.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
