How to Use Hinge’s Dating Intentions to Narrow Your Matches

Are you tired of going on dates that never seem to go anywhere? Are you wishing there was a way to filter your matches based on their dating intentions? Look no further than Hinge’s newest feature: dating intentions.

Dating intentions are a way for Hinge users to declare what kind of relationship they are looking for. Whether it be a casual fling or a serious long-term relationship, users can now let potential matches know what they want right from the start.

But how can you use this feature to your advantage? Here are a few tips on how to use Hinge’s dating intentions to narrow your matches:

1. Be honest about your own dating intentions. If you’re looking for something serious, make sure to select that option in your own profile. This will help weed out the people who are only looking for something casual.

2. Look for matches with similar intentions. Once you’ve selected your own dating intention, take a look at the intentions of potential matches. If you’re both on the same page, it’s more likely that you’ll be compatible.

3. Use the filters. Hinge allows you to filter your matches based on a number of factors, including dating intentions. If you’re only interested in finding someone who is looking for a long-term relationship, use the filter to only show those types of matches.

4. Keep an open mind. While it’s important to be clear about what you’re looking for, don’t be too rigid in your expectations. You never know who you might connect with, even if their dating intention is different from yours.

By using Hinge’s dating intentions to narrow your matches, you’ll have a better chance of finding someone who is looking for the same thing as you. So why not give it a try and see where it takes you? Who knows, your perfect match could be just a swipe away.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
