Google Maps is a powerful tool that can help you find your way around your city or even around the world. But did you know that it also has a voice guidance feature that can help you navigate even more easily? Here’s how to use Google Maps with voice guidance.

1. Update Your Google Maps App

First, make sure you have the latest version of the Google Maps app on your smartphone. You can do this by going to the app store on your device (Google Play Store for Android, App Store for iOS), searching for Google Maps, and clicking the update button if it’s available.

2. Open Google Maps

Once you have the latest version of the app installed, open Google Maps on your device. You can do this by tapping the app icon on your home screen or through the app drawer.

3. Search for Your Destination

Next, search for the location you want to navigate to. You can do this by typing in the address or name of the location in the search bar at the top of the screen or by selecting a location from your saved places if you have any.

4. Tap on the “Directions” Button

Once you’ve found the location you want to navigate to, tap on the “Directions” button at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up a list of directions to your destination.

5. Choose Your Mode of Transportation

You’ll be asked to choose your mode of transportation, such as driving, walking, or public transit. Select the mode that’s appropriate for you.

6. Tap on the “Start” Button

Once you’ve chosen your mode of transportation, tap on the “Start” button to begin your navigation. Google Maps will now begin providing turn-by-turn directions to your destination.

7. Turn on Voice Guidance

To turn on voice guidance, tap on the volume control button located at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up a menu with various options for controlling the sound on your device. Tap on the “Voice Guidance” option to turn it on.

8. Follow the Voice Directions

Once you’ve turned on voice guidance, Google Maps will now provide audio directions as you navigate to your destination. Simply follow the voice directions and let Google Maps do the rest!

In conclusion, using Google Maps with voice guidance is a great way to make your navigation experience even easier. With these easy steps, you’ll be able to navigate your way around your city or even around the world more easily and with more confidence.
