As the PlayStation 5 (PS5) has been released, many gamers are looking for ways to enhance their gaming experience. One of the best ways to do this is by using a keyboard and mouse. In this article, we’ll show you how to use a keyboard and mouse with your PS5.

Step 1: Connect Your Keyboard and Mouse

The first step is to connect your keyboard and mouse to your PS5. Simply plug the USB cables of your keyboard and mouse into the USB ports on your PS5. Your PS5 should automatically recognize the devices and install any necessary drivers.

Step 2: Set Up Your Keyboard and Mouse

Once you have connected your keyboard and mouse to your PS5, you need to set them up. To do this, go to Settings > Devices > External Keyboard and Mouse > Keyboard or Mouse. You will then be able to customize your settings to suit your preferences. You can adjust the pointer speed, enable or disable mouse acceleration, and so on.

Step 3: Configure Keys

After you have set up your keyboard and mouse, you need to configure the keys. This is especially important if you want to use your keyboard and mouse for games that require precise movements. To do this, go to Settings > Devices > External Keyboard and Mouse > Keyboard. Here, you can remap the keys on your keyboard to suit your preferences. You can also adjust the sensitivity of your mouse.

Step 4: Start Gaming

Once you have set up and configured your keyboard and mouse, you can start using them to play games. Most games will automatically recognize your keyboard and mouse. However, some games may require additional configuration. Check the game’s options menu to see if there are any settings you need to adjust.

Step 5: Enjoy the Experience

Playing games with a keyboard and mouse is a different experience than using a controller. You will have better control over your movements and actions, and you will be able to react more quickly. With a little practice, you might even find that your gaming skills improve.
