In today’s world, photography plays an essential role in our lives. Be it social media or any documentation; a blurred photo is always a disappointment. Sometimes, when we click a perfect picture, we end up with a blurry one. Don’t worry; we have got you covered. In this article, we will be discussing three easy methods to unblur an image.

Method 1: Using editing software

If you have access to software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom, then you can use the sharpen tool to reduce the blurriness. Follow these steps;

  1. Open the image in Photoshop.
  2. Duplicate the layer.
  3. Go to Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask.
  4. A dialogue box will appear, adjust the settings as per your preference, and click Ok.
  5. Once you click Ok, the unsharp mask will be applied to the duplicate layer.
  6. Merge the two layers, and the image will have a sharper look.

Method 2: Using online tools

If you do not have access to software, you can use various online tools to unblur an image. These tools are free and easy to use. They work on a simple algorithm that removes the blur by improving the edges of the image. Here are the steps you can follow to unblur an image using an online tool;

  1. Go to the desired online tool’s website, for example, Fotor or Photo Sharpen.
  2. Upload the image and select the blur intensity.
  3. Click on the unblur button, and the tool will work its magic in a few seconds.
  4. Download the unblurred image and compare it with the original.

Method 3: Using artificial intelligence tools

Artificial intelligence has taken over the world, and it is not far behind when it comes to unblurring an image. AI tools like Topaz Sharpen AI and Vance AI Image Sharpener are some of the popular ones in the market. They use machine learning algorithms to unblur an image, making it look natural and realistic. Here are the steps you can follow to unblur an image using an AI tool;

  1. Open the desired AI tool’s website, for example, Topaz Sharpen AI or Vance AI Image Sharpener.
  2. Upload the image and select the AI model you want to use.
  3. Click on the start button, and the AI model will analyze the image and remove the blurriness.
  4. Save the unblurred image and compare it with the original.
