Blocking a number on your android phone can be a useful feature when you want to avoid calls, messages, and even spam calls. However, it is also possible that you may have accidentally blocked the wrong number, or you may have had a change of heart and want to give someone access to call or message you again. In situations like these, unblocking the number is the best way forward. Here’s how to unblock a number on your android phone.

Step 1: Open your phone app

The first step towards unblocking a number on your android phone is to open the phone app. This app is usually represented by a green icon with a white phone receiver inside it. Once you open the app, you will see a list of all the recent calls and messages you have made or received.

Step 2: Access the blocked numbers list

To access the list of blocked numbers on your android phone, you will need to tap the three dots at the top right corner of the screen. Next, select the “settings” option from the drop-down menu that appears.

Step 3: Select “Blocked Numbers”

In the settings menu, you will find various options such as call settings, sound settings, and more. Scroll down the list and select “Blocked Numbers.” Once you open the blocked numbers list, you will see a list of all the numbers you have blocked.

Step 4: Unblock the number

To unblock a number on your android phone, tap on the number you wish to unblock. Next, tap the “unblock” option that appears on the screen. You may need to confirm your choice of unblocking the number here.

Step 5: Restart your phone

Once you have completed all the above steps, restart your phone to ensure that the changes have been made successfully. Once your phone has restarted, the unblocked number will be able to call or text you again.

In conclusion, unblocking a number on your android phone is an easy process that can be completed in a few simple steps. You can unblock a number at any time, which makes it a handy feature to have. So, the next time you accidentally block a number or want to give someone a second chance, use this guide to unblock the number on your phone.
