Spread the love

FaceTime Live Photos is a feature that allows you to capture the special moments of your FaceTime call. With Live Photos, you can capture a still image of the person you’re talking to, as well as any movement or sound that occurs during the call. This feature is perfect for those who love to capture memories of their loved ones or friends during video calls.

If you’re wondering how to turn on FaceTime Live Photos, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Check your device compatibility

Before you start using FaceTime Live Photos, you should make sure that your device is compatible with the feature. FaceTime Live Photos is available on iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro or later, iPad Air 2 or later, iPad mini 4 or later, and iPod touch (7th generation) or later. If your device is not compatible, you will not be able to use this feature.

Step 2: Update your device software

If you have a compatible device, make sure that your device is updated to the latest software version. FaceTime Live Photos is available on iOS 11 or later and macOS High Sierra or later. If your device is not updated to the latest software version, you will not be able to use FaceTime Live Photos.

Step 3: Set up FaceTime Live Photos

To turn on FaceTime Live Photos, go to your Settings app and select FaceTime. Then, toggle on the Live Photos switch. This will enable Live Photos for all FaceTime calls you make.

Step 4: Capture FaceTime Live Photos

Once you’ve turned on FaceTime Live Photos, you can start capturing Live Photos during your FaceTime calls. To capture a Live Photo, simply press the camera button that appears on the FaceTime screen during the call. The Live Photo will be captured and saved to your device’s camera roll.

Step 5: View FaceTime Live Photos

You can view FaceTime Live Photos in the same way as you view normal Live Photos. Open the Photos app on your device and find the Live Photos album. Your FaceTime Live Photos will be located in this album.

In conclusion, FaceTime Live Photos is a great way to capture memories of your loved ones during video calls. By following the above steps, you can easily turn on this feature and capture Live Photos during your FaceTime calls. So next time you’re on a FaceTime call, be sure to capture a Live Photo and cherish that moment forever.
