Apple Watch is a great device that offers a range of features that make everyday life easier. However, one feature that can often be annoying is the keyboard notifications. These notifications can become intrusive, especially if you get a lot of messages or emails. The good news is that it is possible to turn off these notifications, and in this article, we will guide you through the process.

1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone

The first step to turn off Apple Watch keyboard notifications is to open the Watch app on your iPhone. If you have not installed the Watch app, you will need to download it from the App Store. Once you have the app installed, open it on your iPhone.

2. Tap on “Notifications”

After opening the Watch app on your iPhone, you will see a menu of options. Tap on “Notifications” to access the settings menu for notifications.

3. Scroll down to “Messages” or “Mail”

Depending on whether you want to turn off keyboard notifications for messages or email, scroll down until you see the relevant option. Tap on either “Messages” or “Mail.”

4. Toggle off “Show Alerts”

To turn off keyboard notifications, simply toggle off the “Show Alerts” button. You will no longer receive notifications on your Apple Watch when you receive a message or an email.

5. Turn off “Sound” and “Haptic” notifications (optional)

If you want to further reduce the number of notifications you receive from messages or email, you can also turn off “Sound” and “Haptic” notifications. These options are located just below the “Show Alerts” toggle button.

6. Repeat the process for other apps

You can use the same process to turn off keyboard notifications for other apps that send notifications. Simply follow steps 2-5 for each app that you want to turn off notifications for.

Conclusion

Turning off Apple Watch keyboard notifications is a simple process that can greatly improve your user experience with the device. Once you have turned off these notifications, you will be able to enjoy the other features of your Apple Watch, without interruptions. By following the steps outlined in this article, you will be able to quickly and easily turn off keyboard notifications for messages, email, and other apps.
