If you own a GoPro camera, you know how important it is to have access to its Wi-Fi feature. This feature allows you to connect your device to your camera and control it remotely using the GoPro app. However, if you forget your GoPro Wi-Fi password, you won’t be able to access this feature. In this article, we will guide you on how to reset your GoPro password for Wi-Fi.

Step One: Turn on Your GoPro Camera

The first step is to turn on your GoPro camera and wait for it to boot up. Once it is on, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings on your device and select “Reset Wi-Fi Password.”

Step Two: Connect to Your Camera

After resetting your Wi-Fi password, connect your device to your camera using the GoPro app.

Step Three: Enter the Default Password

Once you are connected to your camera, enter the default password, which is “goprohero” for most models. If you have an older model, the default password may be “goprohero3.”

Step Four: Change Your Password

After entering the default password, you will be prompted to enter a new password. Choose a password that is easy to remember but difficult for others to guess. Make sure to write it down somewhere safe so you don’t forget it.

Step Five: Save Your Changes

Finally, save your password changes and exit the Wi-Fi settings. Your new password will now be used to connect to your GoPro camera.

In conclusion, resetting your GoPro password for Wi-Fi is a simple process that can be done in just a few steps. By following these steps, you can ensure that you always have access to your camera’s Wi-Fi feature and control it remotely with ease.

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech.
