Transferring apps between Android mobiles via Bluetooth is an easy and simple process. Though, Bluetooth is an old communication technology as compared to file transfer service like share-it and Xender, it is still widely used due to its simplicity and accessibility.

Today, in this article, we will guide you through the steps to transfer apps between Android mobiles via Bluetooth.

Step 1: Turn on Bluetooth

Before you start transferring apps, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on both mobile phones. You can turn on Bluetooth by going to the settings menu of your mobile and tapping on the Bluetooth option.

Step 2: Pair the two devices

To transfer apps, you need to pair the two devices. To do so, go to the Bluetooth settings of one mobile phone and search for the other one. Once you see the name of the mobile phone, tap on it to pair them.

Step 3: Select the apps to transfer

After the devices are paired, go to the file manager on the mobile phone which has the app you want to transfer, and select the apps to transfer. You can select multiple apps by tapping and holding the app icon and then selecting the others.

Step 4: Share as an APK file

Once you have selected the apps, tap on the share button and select “share as an APK file.” This will create a copy of the app in the form of a file, which can be transferred via Bluetooth.

Step 5: Send the APK file

Now, go to the Bluetooth settings and select the paired mobile phone. Once the connection is established, select the APK file to send. The app transfer will start automatically, and you will see the progress on both devices.

Step 6: Install the apps

Once the transfer is complete, go to the file manager and find the transferred APK file. Tap on the file, and it will start installing the app. You might need to allow installation of apps from unknown sources to install the app successfully.

Conclusion

Transferring apps between Android mobiles via Bluetooth is a simple and easy process. You no longer need to depend on file transfer apps like share-it and Xender, which require an internet connection. Just follow the above steps, and you’ll be able to transfer the apps in no time.
