Instagram is undoubtedly one of the most popular social media platforms out there. With over a billion active users, it has become an essential part of our lives. However, sometimes people decide to deactivate or delete their accounts on the app. If you have been wondering whether someone you follow has deactivated or deleted their Instagram account, here are some ways to find out.

1. Look for the profile

The easiest way to know whether someone has deactivated or deleted their Instagram account is by looking for their profile on the app. If you can’t find them, then it’s likely that they have deactivated or deleted the account. However, if you are still able to see the profile, then it’s active.

2. Check for their username

If you know the person’s username, another easy way to know if their account is deactivated or deleted is to search for their username. If you can’t find their username, it likely means they have deactivated or deleted their account.

3. Search for their name

If you don’t know the person’s username, but you know their name, you can search for them in the search bar. If their profile doesn’t appear, it means that they have either deactivated or deleted their account.

4. Check their posts and comments

If the person has deactivated their account, then all their posts and comments on Instagram will also disappear. However, if you can still see their posts and comments, then it means that they have deleted their account.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
