Android 12 has introduced a new feature that allows users to snooze notifications. This feature is especially useful for those who receive a lot of notifications throughout the day and want to temporarily silence them. In this article, we will guide you on how to snooze notifications in Android 12.

Step One: Swipe Down to Access Notification Shade

The first step is to swipe down from the top of your phone’s screen to access the notification shade. This is where you will see all of your notifications.

Step Two: Long Press on the Notification

Next, long-press on the notification that you want to snooze. This will bring up a menu with several options.

Step Three: Tap on the Snooze Button

In the menu that appears, tap on the “Snooze” button. This will bring up a list of preset snooze times, ranging from 15 minutes to 2 hours.

Step Four: Choose the Snooze Time

Choose the snooze time that you want by tapping on it. You can also tap on the “Custom” option if you want to set a specific snooze time.

Step Five: Wait for the Snooze to End

Once you have chosen the snooze time, the notification will disappear from your notification shade. You will not receive any notifications from that app during the snooze period. Once the snooze time is up, the notification will reappear in your notification shade.

Step Six: Cancel Snooze

If you want to cancel the snooze before the time is up, simply swipe left on the notification and tap on the “Cancel” button.

In conclusion, snoozing notifications in Android 12 is a simple process that can help you manage your notifications and avoid distractions. By following these steps, you can easily snooze notifications and customize the snooze time to fit your needs.
