Ariana Grande is a famous pop singer known for her incredible vocal range and unique style. If you want to sing like her, you can follow these 12 steps to help you improve your voice and emulate her singing technique.

1. Warm Up: Before you start singing, make sure to warm up your vocal chords with breathing exercises, lip trills, and humming. This helps prevent strain or injury.

2. Find Your Range: Ariana has a wide vocal range, spanning from soprano to whistle register. Determine your vocal range by practicing scales and identifying the highest and lowest notes you can comfortably hit.

3. Emulate Ariana’s Tone: Listen closely to Ariana’s songs and pay attention to the tone of her voice. Practice imitating her soft, breathy tone during verses, and the strong, powerful belt that she uses in choruses.

4. Develop Your Breath Support: Strong breath support is crucial for maintaining control and power in your voice. Practice deep breathing from your diaphragm, not your chest. This will allow you to hold long notes and create a more resonant sound.

5. Practice Runs and Riffs: Ariana is known for her intricate vocal runs and riffs. Start slowly with basic scales, then add ornamentation as you become more confident.

6. Enunciation: Work on pronouncing each word clearly while still maintaining a natural flow in the song. Incorporate Ariana’s distinct pronunciation style by slightly exaggerating vowel sounds.

7. Develop Your Whistle Register: One of Ariana’s hallmarks is her ability to hit whistle register notes. To develop this skill, practice singing ascending scales until you reach this high-pitched vocal range.

8. Balance Power with Breathiness: Learn to sing with a balance of power and breathiness by switching between the two depending on the part of the song. Ariana’s lower notes are often soft and breathy, while her higher notes are strong and resonant.

9. Emotional Expression: Ariana’s performances are filled with emotion. Connect with the lyrics of the song and let your emotions come through in your singing.

10. Practice Falsetto: Ariana often transitions seamlessly between her chest voice and falsetto. Develop your falsetto to mimic this smooth transition for a more authentic sound.

11. Head voice vs Chest voice: Understand when to use head voice (lighter, more resonant) or chest voice (stronger, more powerful) by listening closely to Ariana’s songs and practicing appropriate placement.

12. Performance Skills: Finally, work on engaging the audience during your performance. Use facial expressions, body language, and movement to further enhance your stage presence.

Remember that practice makes perfect, so keep working on these steps and take care of your voice by staying hydrated and getting plenty of rest. With time and dedication, you’ll be well on your way to singing like Ariana Grande!
