In today’s world, one of the most common things we do is share Wi-Fi passwords. Whether it’s with friends or family members, the ability to access Wi-Fi is crucial in our day-to-day activities. With iPhones being one of the most commonly used devices, sharing Wi-Fi passwords from iPhone to iPhone has become a necessity. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to do it.

Step 1: Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

The first thing you need to do is turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both devices. You can do this by going to Settings > Wi-Fi and Settings > Bluetooth on both iPhones.

Step 2: Ensure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network

The next step is to make sure that both iPhones are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If they are not connected to the same network, sharing the password will not work. You can check this by going to Settings > Wi-Fi on both devices and checking the network name.

Step 3: Put the 2 devices close to each other

Once both devices have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on and are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you need to bring them close to each other. This ensures that the devices can communicate with each other via Bluetooth.

Step 4: Share the Wi-Fi password

Now that both devices are close to each other, go to the device that needs the Wi-Fi password and tap on the Wi-Fi network name. A password prompt will appear. On the other device, you will see a pop-up asking if you want to share the Wi-Fi password. Tap on “Share Password” to send the password to the other device.

Step 5: Confirm the Wi-Fi password

The other device will now automatically fill in the Wi-Fi password and connect to the network. If there are any issues, such as a wrong password, make sure to troubleshoot and confirm that the password is correct.

In Conclusion

Sharing Wi-Fi passwords from iPhone to iPhone is a simple process that can be done in just a few steps. With these steps, you can easily share your Wi-Fi password with your friends and family without having to memorize long codes or share the password manually. By taking these steps, you can ensure that your network stays secure, and your friends and family can easily connect to your Wi-Fi network.
