Spread the love

If you are an avid music lover and own multiple Alexa speakers at your home, setting up multi-room music can enhance your listening experience. With Amazon’s Alexa, you can enjoy music in every room of your house simultaneously.

Here’s how to set up multi-room music on your Alexa speakers:

1. Choose your speakers-

First, ensure that all your Alexa speakers are set up on the same Wi-Fi network. You can connect compatible speakers such as Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, Echo Spot, or any other Alexa-enabled speaker.

2. Create a group-

Next, you need to create a multi-room music group in the Alexa app. Open the Alexa app on your phone, choose the ‘devices’ option, and then select ‘+’ to add a new group. Give your new group a name like “Home,” “Everywhere,” or anything that comes to your mind.

3. Choose your devices-

Once the group is created, you can start adding your Alexa-enabled devices to the group. Select your preferred devices by clicking them, and then click ‘Create group.’

4. Play music-

You can now play music on multiple Alexa devices by saying “Alexa, play music on [group name].” Alexa will stream the music on all the devices you’ve added in that group.

5. Control your music-

You can control your music by telling Alexa to pause, play, or skip a song. Moreover, you can choose to play different songs in different rooms too. For example, you may say, “Alexa, play the Beatles in the living room and Coldplay in the bedroom.”

Setting up multi-room music on your Alexa speakers can transform your home into a lively music hub. You can listen to your favorite songs in every room and entertain your guests without a miss. It’s a great way to unwind, declutter your mind, and feel rejuvenated.

In conclusion, If you own multiple Alexa speakers but haven’t set up multi-room music yet, don’t wait any longer. Follow the steps mentioned above, and you are all set. Alexa is an excellent voice assistant that can make your listening experience seamless, effortless, and aesthetic. So, start enjoying the music in every room of your house today!
