Spread the love

Setting your favorite song as your iPhone alarm can make waking up in the morning more enjoyable. Not only does it let you wake up to a tune you love, but it also makes you excited for the start of a new day. However, setting a song as an iPhone alarm can be tricky, especially if you don’t know the correct steps. In this article, we’ll walk you through how to set a song as your iPhone alarm.

1. Select the song you want to set as your alarm

The first step is to select the song that you want to use as your alarm. You can choose any song from your music library, including songs that you’ve purchased or downloaded through Apple Music. It’s important to note that the song must be downloaded to your device for you to use it as an alarm.

2. Open the Clock app on your iPhone

Once you’ve chosen the song you want to use as your alarm, open the Clock app on your iPhone. This app is pre-installed on every iPhone and can be found on your home screen.

3. Tap the “Alarm” icon

Once you’ve opened the Clock app, tap on the “Alarm” icon located in the bottom left corner of the screen.

4. Tap the “+” button to create a new alarm

If you don’t already have an existing alarm, tap the “+” button in the top right-hand corner of the screen to create a new alarm.

5. Set the time for your alarm

Use the wheels provided to set the time for your alarm. Make sure you choose a time that you want to wake up. You can also set multiple alarms for different days of the week.

6. Tap on “Sound”

After setting the time for your alarm, scroll down until you see the “Sound” option. Tap on it.

7. Choose the song you want to use as your alarm

Under the “Songs” section, you’ll see a list of all the songs that are downloaded on your iPhone. Scroll through until you find the song you want to use as your alarm and tap on it.

8. Save your new alarm

Once you’ve selected your desired song, tap “Save” to save your new alarm. You’ll be taken back to the main “Alarm” screen with your new alarm listed.

9. Make sure your iPhone is set to the correct volume

Finally, make sure your iPhone is set to the correct volume. You don’t want the music to play too quietly, or you may not wake up. Go to your iPhone’s settings and adjust the volume accordingly.

In conclusion, setting a song as your iPhone alarm is a great way to start your day off on the right foot. Follow these steps, and you’ll be enjoying your favorite tunes every morning in no time.
