Setting a schedule to play photos on Chromecast is an easy way to showcase your favorite memories and keep them on display for your family, friends, or guests to enjoy. With a few simple steps, you can create a slideshow that automatically plays at specific times, making it perfect for a variety of events, from parties to family gatherings.

Here’s how to set up a schedule to play photos on Chromecast:

Step 1: Create a Google Photos Album

The first step is to create a Google Photos album that contains all the pictures you want to display. If you haven’t already, download the Google Photos app and create an album by tapping the “Library” tab and then “Albums.” From here, you can select “New Album” and add the photos you want to include.

Step 2: Link your Chromecast to your Google Account

Next, you need to link your Chromecast to your Google account. To do this, make sure your Chromecast device is connected to your TV and open the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet. From the menu, select “Devices,” then choose your Chromecast device and tap the gear icon to access settings. Under “Linked Accounts,” you should see your Google account listed. If it’s not already linked, tap “Link Account” and follow the prompts.

Step 3: Cast the Photos to Chromecast

Now, open the Google Photos app on your smartphone or tablet and select the album you created in step one. Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen and choose “Cast.” Select your Chromecast device from the list of available devices and your photos should start playing automatically on your TV screen.

Step 4: Set up a Schedule to Play Photos

To set up a schedule to play photos, open the Google Home app and select your Chromecast device. Tap the gear icon to access settings and scroll down to “Ambient Mode.” Here, you can choose to either have your photos play when the Chromecast is idle or set a specific schedule. If you choose to set a schedule, you can select the days and times you want the photos to play, as well as the duration of the slideshow and any additional settings.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Slideshow

Once you’ve set up your schedule, sit back and enjoy your slideshow! Your photos will automatically play on your Chromecast at the designated times, making it easy to keep your favorite memories on display for all to see.

In conclusion, setting up a schedule to play photos on Chromecast is a simple process that can add a personal touch to any event or gathering. By following these steps, you can create a slideshow that showcases your cherished memories and brings joy to your family and friends
