The Samsung S20 is a high-end smartphone that comes with a wide range of features and powerful hardware. One of the most commonly used features of a smartphone is the ability to take screenshots. If you are new to using a Samsung S20 and want to learn how to take screenshots, then read on.

Method 1: Using Physical Buttons

The easiest and quickest way to take a screenshot on a Samsung S20 is by using the physical buttons. Follow the steps below to take a screenshot using this method.

Step 1: Locate the Power and Volume buttons on your device. The Power button is located on the right side of your device, and the Volume buttons are located on the left side of your device.

Step 2: Open the screen that you want to capture in a screenshot.

Step 3: Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until you hear a shutter sound and see the screen flash. This confirms that the screenshot has been taken.

Step 4: The screenshot will be saved in the Screenshots folder in the Gallery app. You can access it by going to the Gallery app and opening the Screenshots folder.

Method 2: Using Palm Swipe Gesture

The Samsung S20 also supports a palm swipe gesture to take screenshots. This method can be useful if you are unable to use the physical buttons to take a screenshot. Follow the steps below to take a screenshot using the palm swipe gesture.

Step 1: Go to Settings and select Advanced features.

Step 2: Enable the Palm swipe to capture option.

Step 3: Open the screen that you want to capture in a screenshot.

Step 4: Place the side of your hand on the screen and swipe it from left to right or right to left. This will capture the screenshot.

Step 5: The screenshot will be saved in the Screenshots folder in the Gallery app. You can access it by going to the Gallery app and opening the Screenshots folder.

Conclusion

Taking screenshots on a Samsung S20 is a simple process that can be done using physical buttons or a palm swipe gesture.
