Instagram has become one of the most popular social media platforms in the world, with over 1 billion active users. It is not uncommon to come across a story that you might want to keep for future reference. But how do you take a screenshot without getting caught? Follow these simple steps to screenshot an Instagram Story without getting caught.

1. Turn on Airplane Mode

The first step in taking a screenshot without getting caught is to turn on airplane mode on your device. This will turn off your internet connection, and you can capture the story without notifying Instagram of what you’re doing.

2. View and Load the Story

Once you have turned on airplane mode on your device, open the Instagram app and load the Story you want to screenshot.

3. Take the Screenshot

Once the Story has loaded, take the screenshot you need without worrying about being caught. Simply use the inbuilt screenshot feature on your device to capture the image.

4. Exit the App and Turn off Airplane Mode

Once you have taken the screenshot, exit the Instagram app, and turn off airplane mode on your device. This will ensure that your internet connection is turned back on, and you can continue using your device as normal.

5. View the Screenshot and Share

With airplane mode turned off, you can now view the screenshot you took and share it with whoever you want without worrying about getting caught.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
