Screen recording on FaceTime is a great way to capture and save important moments during your video calls with family and friends, or even for work meetings. With the built-in screen recording function of iOS devices, you can easily record FaceTime conversations and save them to your device’s camera roll to review and share later. Here’s how to screen record on FaceTime:

Step 1: Enable Screen Recording on your device

Before you begin, ensure that the screen recording feature has been enabled on your device. To do this, go to your device’s Control Center (swipe up from the bottom of the screen on iOS devices with a Home button or swipe down from the top-right corner on devices without one) and tap on the Screen Recording icon. If you don’t see the Screen Recording icon, you may need to add it to your Control Center by going to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls.

Step 2: Start a FaceTime Call

Open the FaceTime app on your device and begin a video call with the person you wish to record.

Step 3: Begin Screen Recording

Once your FaceTime call has begun, access the Control Center again by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (or down from the top-right corner), and tap on the Screen Recording icon. A three-seconds countdown will appear on the screen before the recording begins.

Step 4: Record your FaceTime Call

Once the recording begins, it will capture both the audio and video of the FaceTime conversation. You can move the recording button to the side of the screen to minimize the view, and continue your conversation as usual.

Step 5: Stop Recording

To stop the recording, tap on the red status bar at the top of your device’s screen (or access the Control Center again and tap on the Screen Recording icon). The recording will be automatically saved to your device’s camera roll.

Step 6: Review and Share the Recording

To view or share the recording, simply go to your device’s Photos app and find the recording in your “Camera Roll” album. You can share the recording via AirDrop, email, or any other app that supports sharing.

In conclusion, screen recording on FaceTime is an easy and efficient way to capture important moments during your video calls. By following these simple steps, you’ll be able to record and save all those special conversations with ease.
