If you have recently changed your router, you may need to reset your Wi-Fi extender as well. When moving to a new router, the extender may have difficulty staying connected to the network or may not connect at all. Resetting the Wi-Fi extender to the new router can fix these issues.

Here are the steps to reset your Wi-Fi extender to a new router:

Step 1: First, disconnect the extender from any power source and turn off the extender.

Step 2: Attach the extender to your computer using an Ethernet cable and make sure it is properly connected.

Step 3: Plug the extender back into the power source and turn it on.

Step 4: Wait for the LED lights on the extender to blink or turn on.

Step 5: Next, open your web browser and type the IP address of your extender in the address bar. This will bring you to the login page for the extender.

Step 6: Enter the login credentials for the extender. This will include the username and password that is used to access the extender’s settings.

Step 7: Navigate to the settings page and look for the option to reset the extender. This may be labeled as “Factory Reset” or “Reset to Default.”

Step 8: Click on the reset option and wait for the extender to reset. This may take a few minutes.

Step 9: Once the extender has reset, you will need to set up the extender again to connect to the new router. Follow the instructions provided with your extender to complete the setup process.

In conclusion, resetting your Wi-Fi extender to a new router is a simple process that can help you avoid connectivity issues with your devices. By following these steps, you can quickly reset your extender and get it connected to your new network.
