How to Report Accounts, Videos, and Comments on TikTok

TikTok is the most trending social media platform which is used by millions of users worldwide to showcase their talents and engage with their audience. However, with the growing number of users, the platform is also receiving a lot of negative and inappropriate content that might be harmful to some users. TikTok’s platform provides users with the ability to report accounts, videos, and comments that go against the platform’s community guidelines. In this article, we will be discussing how to report accounts, videos, and comments on TikTok.

Reporting Inappropriate Content and Accounts

TikTok has a set of community guidelines that all users must abide by. If you come across any content that violates these guidelines, you can report the user or the video to TikTok’s support team.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the TikTok app and go to the profile of the user you want to report.
  2. Tap on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Select “report” from the menu.
  4. Select the reason for reporting the account.
  5. After selecting the reason, tap on “submit” to report the account.
  6. TikTok will review your report and take necessary action if required.

Reporting Inappropriate Comments

Inappropriate comments are one of the biggest issues that users face on TikTok. However, TikTok provides an option for users to report such comments.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to the video with the inappropriate comment.
  2. Swipe left on the comment to reveal the “…” button.
  3. Tap on the “…” button and then select “report” from the menu.
  4. Select the reason for reporting the comment.
  5. After selecting the reason, tap on “submit” to report the comment.
  6. TikTok will review your report and take necessary action if required.

Reporting Inappropriate Videos

If you come across a video that contains inappropriate or harmful content, you can report it to TikTok’s support team. TikTok’s support team will review the video and take necessary action if required.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the video you want to report.
  2. Tap on the “…” button at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  3. Select “report” from the menu.
  4. Select the reason for reporting the video.
  5. After selecting the reason, tap on “submit” to report the video.
  6. TikTok will review your report and take necessary action if required.
