Snapchat is a popular social media platform that has become an indispensable part of our lives. With its fun filters and fleeting moments, it is no wonder that millions of people use it daily to share their day-to-day experiences with their friends and followers. However, sometimes we accidentally delete our precious Snapchat memories that we would like to have back. Fortunately, recovering deleted Snapchat memories is possible, and in this article, we will show you how to do it.

Method 1: Recover Snapchats from your Phone’s Cache (Android)

If you use an Android phone, you may be lucky enough to recover deleted Snapchat memories from your phone cache. The cache is a temporary storage system that stores data such as images, videos, and text messages. Here is how you can recover deleted Snapchat memories from your Android phone cache.

Step 1: First, locate your phone’s cache folder. You can do this by navigating to your phone’s file manager and selecting the internal storage. From there, tap on the Android folder and find the data folder.

Step 2: Once you have found the data folder, look for the Snapchat folder and select it. This folder will contain all the Snapchat data stored on your phone, including your memories.

Step 3: Now, look for the “cache” folder and select it. This folder will contain all the Snapchat photos and videos that were saved to your phone’s cache.

Step 4: Depending on the size of the cache folder, you may need to scroll down to find the photo or video you want to recover. Once you find it, simply copy and paste it to another folder on your phone or share it with your Snapchat contacts.

Method 2: Use a Snapchat Data Recovery Tool

If you are unable to locate your phone’s cache folder or if your cache has been cleared, you can use a Snapchat data recovery tool. These tools are designed to scan your Android or iPhone device to recover deleted Snapchat memories.

Step 1: Download a Snapchat data recovery tool such as “EaseUS MobiSaver” or “PhoneRescue” from your app store.

Step 2: After installing the app, launch it and connect your device to your computer.

Step 3: Follow the on-screen prompts to scan your device for deleted Snapchat memories. The scanning process may take a few minutes, depending on the size of your device.

Step 4: Once the scan is complete, the tool will display a list of recoverable Snapchat memories. Select the photos or videos you want to recover and click on the “recover” button.

Step 5: The Snapchat memories will then be saved to your computer, where you can transfer them to your phone or share them with your Snapchat contacts.

Conclusion

Snapchat memories are a precious part of our lives, and it can be frustrating when we accidentally delete them. However, with these methods, you can recover deleted Snapchat memories and keep them safe for future reference. Remember to always be careful when handling valuable information on your device, and regularly backup your files to avoid permanent loss.
