How to Play Baseball Darts: 7 Steps

Step 1: Gather the equipment
Before you start playing baseball darts, you will need a standard dartboard and at least two sets of three darts each. You’ll also need a scoreboard where you can track both teams’ runs.
Step 2: Decide on the number of innings
In a regular game of baseball, there are nine innings. However, baseball darts can be tailored to fit your time constraints. You can agree on a shorter or longer game depending on your preferences.
Step 3: Establish the batting order
Determine which team goes first and establish an order for each player. Like real baseball, maintain this batting order throughout the game.
Step 4: Understand the scoring system
In baseball darts, numbers 1 to 9 on the dartboard symbolize the nine innings of the game. To score, you need to hit these numbers in sequential order. Each number hit represents one run scored. Doubles and triples correspond to two and three runs scored respectively. If a player hits an inning’s target number outside of its sequence, it counts as an out.
Step 5: Aim for three outs per inning
Each player has three opportunities to score or make “outs” in each inning. An out occurs when a player misses the target number for that specific inning or hits it out of sequence. Once three outs have been recorded, that half of the inning is over and it is now the other team’s turn to bat.
Step 6: Switch sides after each inning
Once both teams have had their chance at bat, switch sides on the scoreboard and prepare for the next inning.
Step 7: Declare a winner
After completing all agreed-upon innings, tally up each team’s total runs. The team with the most runs wins the game! In case of a tie, play extra innings until one team scores more runs during their turn.
That’s how you play baseball darts – a fun and exciting game perfect for friendly competition. With practice, skill, and a little bit of luck, you’ll soon become a baseball darts expert!
