Snapchat is one of the popular social media apps that has captured the attention of millions of users worldwide. While it is a great platform to keep in touch with loved ones, it can also be overwhelming when notifications keep popping up on your device.

If you are looking to take a break from Snapchat notifications, or just want to disable them completely, then this guide is for you. Here is how to pause and disable all Snapchat notifications.

Step 1: Open the Snapchat app

The first step is to open the Snapchat app on your device. This can be done by tapping on the Snapchat icon on your home screen or app drawer.

Step 2: Go to your profile settings

Once you have opened the Snapchat app, go to your profile settings by tapping on your profile icon located in the top left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Tap on the gear icon

In your profile settings, tap on the gear icon located in the top right corner of the screen. This will open up your settings menu.

Step 4: Go to Notifications

In the settings menu, scroll down until you see the Notifications option. Tap on it to open up the Notifications settings.

Step 5: Pause Snapchat notifications

To pause Snapchat notifications, toggle the Do Not Disturb switch to the “On” position. This will stop all Snapchat notifications from appearing on your device until you decide to turn it off.

Step 6: Disable Snapchat notifications

If you want to completely disable Snapchat notifications, toggle the Snap Map, Story, and Group switches to the “Off” position. This will turn off all Snapchat notifications related to those features. You can also toggle the sound and vibration switches to “Off” to disable the notification alert sounds.

Step 7: Save your settings

Once you have made your desired changes, tap on the back button to save your settings. Your changes will be applied immediately.

In conclusion, pausing or disabling all Snapchat notifications can be a great way to take a break from the app or to declutter your device’s notification panel. By following the simple steps outlined in this guide, you can easily pause or disable all Snapchat notifications at any time.
