How to Manage Minecraft Instances and Mods with MultiMC

MultiMC is a Minecraft launcher that makes it easy to manage multiple instances and mods of the game. With this tool, you can create and manage multiple Minecraft installations, each with its unique collection of mods and settings. Here are some steps you can follow to manage Minecraft instances and mods with MultiMC.

1. Download MultiMC

The first step is to download MultiMC. You can do this by visiting the MultiMC website and downloading the version compatible with your operating system. Once you have downloaded the file, extract it to a folder on your computer.

2. Create a Minecraft Instance in MultiMC

To create a Minecraft instance using MultiMC, click on the “Add Instance” button on the top left side of the MultiMC window. You will be prompted to choose a Minecraft version to install. Select the version you want, then click OK. MultiMC will then download and install the Minecraft version you selected.

3. Adding Mods to Your Minecraft Instance

After creating a Minecraft instance, you can add mods to it. To do this, go to the instance tab, and click on the “Edit Instance” button. In the “Edit Instance” window, click on the “Loader Mods” tab, then click on “Add.” Choose the mods you want to install, then click “OK.” MultiMC will download and install the mods for you.

4. Launch Minecraft with MultiMC

Once you have installed the mods, you can launch Minecraft with MultiMC. Go to the instance tab, then click on the “Play” button. MultiMC will launch Minecraft with the mods and settings you selected.

5. Managing Multiple Minecraft Instances

One of the best features of MultiMC is the ability to manage multiple Minecraft instances. To create a new instance, click on the “Add Instance” button, and repeat the process of creating a new Minecraft instance. You can then add mods to each instance, allowing you to customize your Minecraft experience to your liking.
