Introduction:

A YouTube Poop (YTP) is a type of video mashup created by editing pre-existing media sources for humorous, annoying, or confusing effects. YTPs have been popular since the early days of YouTube, mainly because they can be made using readily available free-to-use software. If you’re interested in making your own YouTube Poop, here are 13 steps to help you get started.

1. Choose your source material:

Select the videos or clips that you want to use for your YTP. Choose content that has some dialogues or sounds that could be played around with to create comedic effects.

2. Download the source material:

Use a video downloader to save the source material from YouTube or other platforms onto your computer.

3. Use an editing software:

Select a video editing software like Windows Movie Maker, iMovie, or Adobe Premiere Pro. These programs will allow you to manipulate video and audio effectively.

4. Import the source material into the software:

After launching your chosen editing software, import the downloaded source material into the project file.

5. Trim and arrange clips:

Cut and trim your source material into smaller segments that will be manipulated later in the process. Rearrange these segments in a way that sets up jokes or creates comedic situations.

6. Experiment with effects:

Most editing software comes equipped with various visual and audio effects that can completely transform the look and feel of your clips. Some popular effects used in YTPs include distortion, reverse playback, and pitch shifting

7. Create repetition and juxtaposition:

Repeating scenes and sounds at various intervals can create humor in a YTP. Juxtaposition – placing two unrelated events side by side – is another key component of many classic YouTube Poops.

8. Manipulate audio:

Distort voices, alter pitch levels, or create new sound combinations through layering audio tracks.

9. Incorporate text and images:

Add text overlays or insert images to establish context or intensify the humor of your YTP.

10. Add transitions:

Use transitions like crossfades or wipes to smoothly connect clips and create a seamless viewing experience.

11. Check your work:

After finishing all the edits, watch your YTP from start to finish to ensure the flow is good, and the humor comes across as intended. Make any necessary adjustments.

12. Export your YouTube Poop:

When you’re satisfied with the final product, export your YTP video file in a high-quality format (such as MP4) that is compatible with YouTube.

13. Upload and share:

Head over to your YouTube account and upload your YTP. Share it with friends, family, or other YouTube Poop enthusiasts to enjoy!

In conclusion, creating a YouTube Poop can be a fun way to experiment with video editing and showcase your creativity and humor. Just follow these 13 steps, unleash your imagination, and get ready to make the next viral YTP!
