Facebook Messenger is an instant messaging app that allows users to stay connected and communicate with their friends and family. It has a lot of useful features like group chat, which allows multiple people to chat in a single conversation. Group chat is perfect for organizing events, discussing projects, or simply chatting with a group of friends.

In this article, we will be discussing how to group chat with Facebook Messenger.

Step 1: Open Facebook Messenger

The first step to group chat with Facebook Messenger is to open the app. If you don’t have Messenger installed on your phone, you can download it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Step 2: Create a Group Chat

Once you have Messenger open, you can create a group chat by following these simple steps:

1. Tap on the “Compose” icon located in the top right corner of the screen.

2. Tap on “New Group”.

3. Type in the names of the people you want to add to the group chat or select them from your contacts.

4. Give the group chat a name (optional).

5. Tap on “Create”.

Step 3: Customize the Group Chat

Once you have created the group chat, you can customize it by following these steps:

1. Tap on the group chat you just created.

2. Tap on the “i” icon located in the top right corner of the screen.

3. From here, you can change the name of the group chat, add or remove members, or even mute notifications.

4. You can also set a group photo by tapping on the camera icon.

Step 4: Start Chatting

With the group chat set up and customized, you can now start chatting with your friends and family. Simply type your message in the chat box at the bottom of the screen and tap on the send button. All members of the group chat will be able to see your message.

Step 5: Additional Features

Facebook Messenger offers additional features for group chats, including:

1. Voice and video calls: You can initiate a voice or video call within the group chat by tapping on the phone or camera icon.

2. Polls: You can create a poll within the group chat to gather opinions from members by tapping on the poll icon.
