1. Introduction

Subtitles, also known as closed captions, are crucial for many viewers who are non-native English speakers or who have hearing impairments. Amazon Prime Video offers subtitles for their extensive library of content—follow these 10 simple steps to get subtitles on Amazon Prime Video.

2. Step 1: Open the Amazon Prime Video App or Website

Access Amazon Prime Video by either downloading the app on your device or visiting its official website. Login to your account using your credentials.

3. Step 2: Choose Your Desired Content

Browse the content on Amazon Prime and select the movie or TV show you wish to watch.

4. Step 3: Start Playing the Video

Click on the selected movie or episode thumbnail to start streaming the video.

5. Step 4: Pause the Video

Once your selected content starts playing, click on the pause button to halt playback temporarily.

6. Step 5: Access Subtitle Options

Look for a speech bubble icon (sometimes accompanied by ‘CC’ for closed captions). This icon should be located either in the overlay menu (for mobile devices and smart TVs) or near the playback controls (for web browsers).

7. Step 6: Enable Subtitles

Click on the subtitle symbol; it should open subtitle settings where you’ll find an “On/Off” toggle option to turn them on.

8. Step 7: Select Your Preferred Language

Choose your desired subtitle language from the list of available languages provided.

9. Step 8: Customize Subtitle Appearance (Optional)

If you’re not satisfied with the default subtitle appearance, you can customize it according to your preferences via size, font style, background color, and transparency options (not all options may be available on all devices).

10. Step 9: Resume Playback

Once you’ve enabled and customized subtitles, resume playing the video to watch it with your chosen subtitles.

11. Step 10: Edit Subtitle Settings (Optional)

If you need to make changes to the subtitles while watching the content, simply pause the video again and re-access the subtitle settings using the steps above.

Conclusion:

By following these 10 easy steps, you will be able to watch Amazon Prime Video content with subtitles efficiently and enhance your viewing experience. Happy streaming!
