If you’re tired of seeing small thumbnails of your contacts during iPhone calls, you’re in luck! Here are some tips on how to get full-screen pictures for iPhone calls, making your video calls much more immersive and expressive.

  1. Ensure your contacts have profile pictures

Before you can see full-screen pictures for your iPhone calls, you need to check whether your contacts have profile pictures. You can easily check this by opening the “Contacts” app on your iPhone, and looking at the profiles of the contacts you’re interested in. If their profiles don’t have pictures, you’ll need to add them in. To do that, select a contact, tap “Edit” and tap the circle next to where it says “Add photo”.

  1. Make sure your contacts’ photos are high-quality

Once you’ve added profile pictures to your contacts, make sure they’re high-quality. This means choosing images that are in focus and have good lighting. If the photos are blurry or poorly lit, they might look unattractive or even distort their face during the call. To ensure the best quality pictures, take new photos or select from high-resolution images.

  1. Use the Facetime app

Facetime is Apple’s video calling app and is the best way to ensure full-screen pictures during calls. You can use Facetime to call any other person who has an iPhone, iPad, or Mac – as long as they also have Facetime. To start a Facetime call, open the app and select a person from your contacts. Then, tap on the phone icon located at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Optimize for landscape mode

When using Facetime, make sure you’re in landscape mode for full-screen pictures during calls. Hold your phone sideways for a better video calling experience, allowing your screen to show the other person’s profile picture in full-screen mode. Additionally, make sure your phone is not on mute, the camera is not covered, and that you’re in a well-lit area.

  1. Try third-party video calling apps

If using Facetime isn’t an option, you may want to consider third-party video calling apps such as Zoom or Skype. These apps also allow you to see larger images during calls, similar to Facetime. In some cases, it may even be possible to customize the size of the images, depending on the app.

Conclusion

With the above tips, you’ll be able to get full-screen pictures for your iPhone calls in no time – improving your communication with friends and family. By ensuring your contacts have high-quality profile pictures, using Facetime or other video calling apps, and optimizing for landscape mode, you’ll be able to enjoy a more immersive calling experience. So go ahead, and give it a try!
