Forwarding calls is a basic yet crucial feature of modern smartphones. When you’re unable to answer your phone, forwarding calls to another number can ensure that you don’t miss any important calls. If you’re an Android or iPhone user, you’ll be relieved to know that forwarding calls is relatively easy.

In this article, we’ll be discussing how you can forward calls on your Android or iPhone. We’ll provide step-by-step instructions that you can follow to get the job done quickly and easily.

Forwarding Calls on Android

Android users can easily forward calls to another number using the inbuilt call settings. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open the settings app on your Android smartphone.

2. Scroll down and tap on “Calls” or “Phone.” The option may vary depending on your smartphone model.

3. Tap on “Call Forwarding” and then toggle the switch to turn it on.

4. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to, or choose it from your contacts list.

5. Choose when you want to forward your calls, such as when your phone is busy, unreachable, or always.

If you want to turn off call forwarding, simply toggle the switch back to the off position.
Forwarding Calls on iPhone

If you’re an iPhone user, forwarding your calls is equally easy. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open the “Phone” app on your iPhone.

2. Tap on “Call Forwarding” under the “Settings” section.

3. Toggle the switch to turn on call forwarding.

4. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to, or select it from your contacts list.

. You’ll see a green call forwarding icon in the status bar. This confirms that your calls are being forwarded.
To turn off call forwarding on your iPhone, follow the same steps and toggle the switch back to the off position.

Wrapping Up

Forwarding calls on your Android or iPhone is a simple process once you know how to do it. It’s crucial to ensure that you never miss an important call. If you’re unable to answer your phone, forwarding calls to another number can help you stay connected with your contacts.
