1. Confidence is key: Older men are usually drawn to women who exude self-assurance. Be confident in yourself and the qualities that make you unique, and you’ll be more attractive to an older man.

2. Dress appropriately: Keep in mind that older men may prefer a more mature and elegant sense of style. Dressing well will not only make you more appealing but will also show that you can adapt to their preferences.

3. Engage in meaningful conversation: Unlike younger men who may engage in shallow or banal topics, older men appreciate having deep and intellectual conversations. Show your knowledge and insights on various subjects to keep them engaged.

4. Maintain eye contact: Sustained eye contact is a powerful way to create an emotional connection and show interest in what the other person is saying. Make sure you also have a warm and friendly demeanor when making eye contact.

5. Be a good listener: Older men like to feel heard and understood. Show genuine interest in their experiences, opinions, and feelings by being an active listener.

6. Offer genuine compliments: Compliment them on something specific, like their outfit, sense of humor, or accomplishments. Be sincere because they can likely discern empty flattery from genuine praise.

7. Respect their personal space: While it’s essential to be affectionate and express interest, avoid coming on too strong as this may turn them off or make them uncomfortable.

8. Be playful but not juvenile: Display your fun-loving side while maintaining maturity and poise. Older men appreciate a good sense of humor but avoid childish behavior or acting immaturely.

9. Showcase your independence: Mature men will appreciate a woman who can stand on her own two feet. Show that you can take care of yourself financially, emotionally, and professionally, and he’ll respect your autonomy.

10. Connect through shared interests: Find common ground in your hobbies and activities. This will help you bond and establish a deeper connection with the older man.

11. Avoid discussing age difference: It’s important not to belittle or criticize their age as this could make them feel self-conscious and damage the rapport between you.

12. Be patient: Older men may move at a different pace in relationships compared to younger individuals. Give them time to process their feelings and develop a stronger bond with you without appearing pushy.

13. Be yourself: While it’s necessary to understand their preferences, do not try to reinvent yourself or be someone you’re not. Authenticity is attractive, and being true to who you are will ensure a more genuine connection with your older beau, creating the foundations for a lasting relationship.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
