How to Measure Your Head to Find the Perfect Beret Size

Introduction

Wearing a beret can be a stylish and fun addition to your wardrobe, but finding the perfect size can be challenging. Worry not, this article will guide you through the process of measuring your head accurately to find the ideal beret size. Say goodbye to the common horrors of squeezing your head or wobbling berets!

Materials needed:

1. Soft measuring tape (or a non-stretchable string)

2. A pen and paper/chart to note your measurements

3. A mirror (optional)

Steps to measure your head for beret sizing:

1. Locate your head’s widest point: The first step is to find the broadest part of your head. This is typically just above your ears and across your forehead. The circumference at this level corresponds to the size of the beret you need.

2. Wrap the measuring tape around your head: Take the soft measuring tape and gently wrap it around your head, right at the widest point you located in the first step. When doing this, make sure that the tape lies flat on your head, without dipping or curling.

3. Position correctly: Ensure that the measuring tape is parallel with the ground and covers both eyebrows slightly. This positioning guarantees that you’re measuring at an even level for optimal comfort and fit. Double-check using a mirror if available.

4. Record measurements: Holding one end of the tape in one hand, use your other hand to guide it around your head until it overlaps with itself completely without any gaps or bulges in between.

5. Check tension: Don’t pull too tight – just enough tension that it sits comfortably against your skin without applying pressure. The softness in fit allows for proper sitting of beret’s band on your forehead.

6. Note down dimensions: Read off and record your exact measurement in inches or centimeters, depending on your preferred unit. It’s always a good idea to measure twice for accuracy.

7. Consult beret sizing chart: With your head measurement in hand, consult the beret sizing chart provided by the brand you’re interested in purchasing from. Different brands may have slight variations in their sizes; therefore,it’s important to reference their specific size guide.

Now that you know your perfect beret size, finding the right beret for any occasion becomes effortlessly enjoyable. Whether you’re opting for casual wear or making a style statement, wearing a well-fitted, comfortable beret will boost your confidence and make you feel fabulous. Happy shopping!
