The Kernel Data Inpage Error is a common issue that arises among Windows 11 users. This error is usually caused by memory-related problems, including hardware faults or a structural defect in the hard disk. The error may also be triggered by a virus or malware attack, making it essential to address the problem immediately.

Fortunately, there are various ways to fix the Kernel Data Inpage error in Windows 11. Here are some of the solutions that can help you overcome the problem:

1. Check the integrity of your hard drive

A damaged or defective hard disk can cause the Kernel Data Inpage Error in Windows 11. Therefore, you should check the integrity of your hard disk and ensure that it is not damaged. To do this, you will need to open Command Prompt with admin privileges and type “chkdsk” followed by the name of your hard drive.
For instance, if your hard drive is named C, you will need to type “chkdsk c: /f /r /x”. This command will scan your hard drive for any issues and fix them automatically.

2. Update drivers and firmware

Outdated drivers and firmware can also cause the Kernel Data Inpage Error in Windows 11. Therefore, you should update all drivers and firmware, including the motherboard, graphics, and sound card drivers. To do this, go to Device Manager, locate the device that requires an update, right-click on it, and select “Update Driver.”

3. Remove malware and viruses

Malware and viruses can also cause the Kernel Data Inpage Error in Windows 11. To fix this, install a reliable antivirus program and run a full system scan. This process will identify and remove any malware and viruses on your computer, thereby resolving the error message.

4. Adjust virtual memory settings

If your computer is low on virtual memory, it may cause the Kernel Data Inpage Error in Windows 11. Therefore, you should adjust the virtual memory settings to fix the issue. To do this, go to Start menu, search for “Performance Options,” and select it. Under Virtual Memory, click on “Change,” and allocate enough space to the system drive.

5. Disable fast startup

Fast startup is a feature that allows your computer to start quickly. However, it may cause the Kernel Data Inpage Error in Windows 11. Therefore, you should disable it to fix the issue. To do this, go to Control Panel, select “Power Options,” and click on “Choose what the power buttons do.” Click on “Change settings that are currently unavailable,” scroll down to “Shutdown settings,” and uncheck “Turn on fast startup.”

In conclusion, the Kernel Data Inpage Error in Windows 11 is a common issue that can cause frustration and disruption to your work. However, by following the solutions above, you can fix the problem and get back to a smooth working experience.
