If you are experiencing the “IPv4/IPv6 No Internet Access” error on your Windows device, you may be having issues with your network connection. This error indicates that your computer is unable to connect to the internet using IPv4 or IPv6 protocols. Don’t worry, though; there are several solutions that can help you fix this issue quickly without calling a technician.

1. Check Your Network Status

The first thing you need to do when you encounter this error is to check your network status. Check if other devices connected to the same network are also having the same problem. If they are, then it’s likely that the problem is with the network itself, and not your computer.

2. Restart Your Router

The next step you need to take is to restart your router or modem. Unplug your router or modem from the power source and wait for at least 30 seconds before plugging it back in. This will help refresh the connection and may fix the problem.

3. Disable and Enable Your Network Connection

If restarting your router or modem doesn’t work, try disabling and enabling your network connection. To do this, go to the network and sharing center in your control panel and click on Change adapter settings. Right-click on your network connection and select Disable. Wait for a few seconds and then right-click again and select Enable.

4. Update Your Network Adapter Drivers

Sometimes, the “IPv4/IPv6 No Internet Access” error is caused by outdated or corrupt network adapter drivers. You can check if this is the case by updating your network adapter drivers. To do this, go to the Device Manager, locate your network adapter, right-click on it, and select Update driver. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

5. Reset TCP/IP Settings

If updating your network adapter drivers doesn’t work, you can try resetting your TCP/IP settings. To do this, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type in the following command:

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
Press Enter and wait for the process to complete. Once it’s done, close the Command Prompt and restart your computer.
